I find this idea VERY worrying :( :( The Telegraph are cheering us all up on the health front :roll: :roll:

Me too Pat, I don't like taking them unless it absolutely necessary and nothing else has worked.

I do think that some in healthcare are too quick to hand them out willy nilly, is it any wonder we are building up a resistance.

I do think it is a worry,

but the WHO have been saying this same thing over and over many a year now, at least 10 to my knowledge, maybe more,

so I don\t think it will be a real issue in our lifetimes :roll: 8-)

I think the problem is that most hospitals are nice and warm, ideal breeding grounds for bugs and THEY blame anti-biotics :shock:

You could be right there Pip. They check for infections before they admit you these days, but still people seem to get infections when in hosp. A friend had keyhole surgery only to be rushed back with an awful infection :cry: luckily she has recovered and has fully recovered now :D
