Ghosts and the Paranormal. Who Would You Go To?

I was reading this article about the police in Tayside being called out to incidents of a 'paranormal' nature.

Seriously though, it occurred to me, who would our members call, if they were faced with some type of 'paranormal activity'?

This also fits in nicely, given that both members of our household and some friends have seen unusual, unexplained lights over the skies of Halifax recently. I must admit, it never occurred to me to phone the police

If I saw a UFO, my first thought would be to follow it I think the police are now obliged to log calls about UFO sightings so maybe I would call them afterwards.

If I had unwanted Spirit activity I'm get the SNU to try to encourage the spirit to go into the light.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think UFO's are not paranormal acitivity, to me, that is hauntings, etc.

I'm inclined to agree with you WB but I suppose the word "PARAnormal" suggests anything out of the ordinary!

I with WB on this one too, never looked at it like Mel has pointed out, calling the old bill to report a UFO sighting might now be creditable, but who the heck would ring the old bill because someplace is haunted??

Do any of you who do Paranormal investigating try to get the spirit to go into the light, or do they just plainly refuse to go?

In the first instance I would only send a spirit into the light should they ask to go, and I do make a point of asking. However, for troublesome spirits, they may choose not to go, but are just making the situation impossible in the building where they are. Then I'm afraid they are going, like it or not. Not a situation I relish, but some things just have to be done I'm afraid.
